What can I say that will give this place the justice it needs???!!! We were going to arrive late they told us which cabin would be ours and when we arrived the lights were on, it was dark. The cabin was clean and is way bigger than you think. The food is delicious we had breakfast every morning before heading to the trails, the homemade biscuitsare to die for and wish i could have more! We ordered a couple of crockpot meals that they offer...hands down YOU HAVE to try the chicken and dumplings! Where everyone says you show up as strangers and leave as family is so true. They made a great lasting impression on us and we will be back. They are close to the trails, the bed is comfortable, and the food is amazing. Thank you so much for the kindness and amazing place to stay to hit the trails!

We just made our 3rd trip to the Real McCoy Cabins and had an awesome time! This place is highly recommended with such friendly owners, clean cabins, and very safe. We cant wait until our next trip!

My family and I had a WONDERFUL stay! The customer service is absolutely incredible! We were treated like family! The food prepared by the staff was INCREDIBLE! I can’t say enough good things about our accommodations at the Real McCoy Cabins this week. They made phenomenal home cooked meals. They opened the restaurant early and closed late to accommodate our time on the trails. They even offered crockpot meals set up in your room so when you got in from the trails, dinner would be sitting there waiting on you in your cabin. The cabins are quaint and cozy and outfitted with enough accessories to be comfortable. I even had good wifi! Two generations of family running it and and the third is being groomed to take over one day. Their customer service is second to none. Their granddaughter (Skyler) and I enjoyed games of freeze tag in the gift shop while waiting on my meals to be home cooked to order. It’s incredibly rare to experience this type of place anymore. It warms my heart. They made a great weekend of ATV riding on the Hatfield & McCoy trails even better!

This place starts as convenient, only 10 miles off a highway - easy to get too. Only 3 miles to the Pocahontas trail system- able to cover in one day on green and blue. Clean, friendly, had everything we needed. Great gifts to bring back and food was Perfect!
